FREQUENTLY ASKED
Questions & answers
Everything about requirements, licensing and billing. Still stuck? Ask on Discord.
Do I need CodeWalker, OpenIV or ZModeler?
No. LiveryView loads .yft, .ydd and .ydr files natively —
you point it at your files and it renders them in a 3D viewport. Nothing to export or convert first.
What do I need to run it?
A 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 machine. The installer is self-contained, so there's no separate .NET download —
install and open. For live texture reloads, Paint.NET (.pdn) is recommended.
How do updates work?
The app checks for new versions and updates itself — no reinstalling. When we ship a new tool or fix,
it lands in your app automatically. You can also see everything on the changelog.
Can I use it on more than one PC?
A license is tied to one PC at a time. If you move to a new machine, message us on
Discord and we'll move your license over.
Does it work on a Windows VPS / game server box?
Yes — the app runs on any Windows machine, including a VPS. Server Health connects to your FiveM server over
SFTP and scans it read-only, so you can check a server from anywhere without downloading its files.
Is my server login safe?
Server Health only reads your server — it never changes or deletes anything. Your SFTP connection details
stay on your own PC and are only used to connect; your password is never saved.
How do I pay, and can I cancel?
Billing is €4,99/month through Stripe's secure checkout. You can cancel anytime from your account — the app keeps
working until the end of the period you've already paid for. See the refund policy for details.
Will my liveries or files be uploaded anywhere?
No. LiveryView is a desktop app — your models, textures and metas stay on your machine. The website only handles your
account, license and billing.
Which files can I load?
Vehicles as .yft, clothing as .ydd / .ydr, and textures as
.ytd, .png or .pdn (Paint.NET, with live reload). The meta tools
read
vehicles.meta, carvariations.meta and carcols.meta.
Do I need to be online to use it?
The tools themselves work offline. LiveryView just checks your license now and then and when it looks for updates,
so it needs an internet connection occasionally — not while you're working on a livery.
Do updates or new tools cost extra?
No. Every update and every new tool is included in your subscription and delivered inside the app. When we add a
ninth or tenth tool, you already have it. See the changelog for what's shipped.
Can I get a refund?
Have a look at the refund policy — if something's wrong, reach out on
Discord and we'll sort it out.
GETTING STARTED
How a typical job looks
- Make a livery: open Template Maker, load the car, export the UV template, paint it in Paint.NET, then drop it into Live Livery Viewer to see it on the 3D model — it reloads every time you save.
- Do EUP: same flow with EUP Template Maker and EUP Clothing Viewer for
.ydd/.ydrclothing. - Fix a car that won't spawn or has broken lights: run Meta Fixer over the resource — it points out clashing siren IDs and meta mismatches and can renumber them safely.
- Build a car pack: point Car Bundle Creator at a folder, tick the cars, and it merges them into one clean resource (ULC included).
- Check your server: Server Health connects over SFTP and shows streaming bloat and conflicts, read-only.
